Plain yogurt has … Plain yogurt has live cultures in it that will help relieve the itching, this is true. But if you are only treating the problem locally it will just come right back because candida overgrowth starts in the intestinal tract. You can use either a tampon or an applicator from another product. I tried putting in plain yogurt and got a very bad infection and had to go on Flagyl for 10 days. It made me hallucinate, lol. Taking care of my diet, B-vitamins, and daily probiotics really worked for me.

I don’t know if this is true or not, but I have heard that you can insert plain Yogurt into your vagina several times a day to cure a yeast infection. I read this out of my Home Remedys book. I’ve never tried it though.
